Petrochemicals: Adani Group is making significant strides in the petrochemical landscape with the establishment of its inaugural petrochemical complex, named Green PVC. This initiative aligns with our broader strategy in the petrochemicals, oil & gas, and downstream sectors.The Petrochemicals Business Unit is spearheading the Green PVC project, which entails a substantial investment of INR 26,000 crore. This investment is focused on integrating the acetylene route to facilitate sustainable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) manufacturing. Currently in the execution phase, the project is on track to deliver its first product by June 2026.

Job Purpose: The IT Lead (HO/Site) – PETCHEM is responsible for implementing and managing IT infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity at the operational level, ensuring seamless technology integration and business continuity. The role focuses on delivering high-performance IT solutions, optimizing system reliability, enforcing security protocols, and ensuring regulatory compliance to support business efficiency and digital transformation. Additionally, the IT Lead is accountable for team development, capability building, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the IT function.

IT Infrastructure, System Integration, and Optimization:

Ensure seamless business operations by maintaining, upgrading, and optimizing IT infrastructure for peak performance and minimal downtime.

Enhance interoperability by integrating IT applications with enterprise systems, optimizing workflows, and enabling real-time data exchange for better decision-making.

Minimize system bottlenecks by addressing performance issues, fine-tuning configurations, and implementing automation for process optimization.

Application Development, Enhancement, and Maintenance:

Deliver high-performance IT solutions by managing application development, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and meeting security and compliance standards.

Ensure application reliability by proactively identifying and resolving system issues, reducing downtime, and applying root-cause analysis to prevent recurring problems.

Enhance system functionality by implementing regular updates, incorporating user-driven enhancements, and maintaining relevance through continuous improvement.

Cybersecurity, Risk, and Compliance Management:

Protect IT assets and sensitive data by enforcing security protocols, conducting risk assessments, and mitigating cybersecurity threats.

Ensure regulatory compliance by implementing IT security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST), monitoring adherence to internal policies, and maintaining audit readiness.

Minimize security vulnerabilities by proactively monitoring threats, applying patches, and conducting periodic system penetration tests.

Project Execution and IT Governance:

Ensure timely and cost-effective IT project execution by tracking milestones, mitigating risks, and ensuring projects stay within budget and scope.

Guarantee IT governance and quality assurance by adhering to corporate policies, documenting IT processes, and maintaining rigorous testing protocols.

Implementation, User Support, and Training:

Drive IT adoption and user efficiency by overseeing system deployments, providing technical support, and resolving issues with minimal operational impact.

Enhance workforce productivity by delivering targeted training on new IT solutions, improving system usability, and reducing user errors.

Vendor and Stakeholder Collaboration:

Ensure high-quality IT service delivery by managing vendor relationships, ensuring contract compliance, and optimizing third-party IT support.

Strengthen IT-business alignment by collaborating with leadership, operational teams, and external partners to ensure IT solutions directly support business objectives.

Team Leadership and Capability Development:

Build a high-performing IT team by recruiting, mentoring, and developing talent to enhance technical expertise and problem-solving capabilities.

Foster a culture of innovation and accountability by encouraging best practices, process improvements, and continuous learning.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (mandatory).

Master's Degree in IT Management, Business Administration (MBA), or a similar discipline (preferred).

Work Experience (Range of years):

10 years of IT experience

Proven experience in managing IT systems and projects in industrial, manufacturing, or petrochemical sectors
