Job Title: Field Engineer – Broadband & Fiber Network

Job Summary:

The Field Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting broadband and fiber connections while ensuring service quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of broadband and fiber connections.
  • Conduct network testing, signal checks, and fault rectification at customer premises or field sites.
  • Support the Network Operations (NOC) team in resolving connectivity and service issues.
  • Ensure timely completion of customer installations and service requests.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all tasks (installation reports, service tickets, etc.).
  • Coordinate with backend teams and vendors for issue escalation and resolution.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance to ensure service uptime and quality.
  • Follow Airtel's safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Provide technical assistance to customers during setup and usage.
  • Meet assigned performance metrics such as service uptime, response time, and customer satisfaction.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of networking, routers, and fiber optics.
  • Soft Skills: Good communication and customer-handling abilities.
  • Work Environment: Willingness to work on-field and in shifts as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹16, ₹20,000.00 per month
