Sales Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction:

  • Welcome and engage walk-in customers.

  • Understand client preferences, needs, and budget.

  • Provide product information, fabric/material samples, catalogs, and design ideas.

  • Sales:

  • Recommend appropriate furniture, fixtures, or decor.

  • Generate quotations and close sales.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Upsell and cross-sell related products or services.

  • Showroom Maintenance:

  • Ensure showroom displays are tidy, attractive, and up to date.

  • Coordinate with the visual merchandiser or display team.

  • Coordination:

  • Liaise with the design and installation teams for smooth project delivery.

  • Follow up with clients on delivery timelines, payments, and post-sale service.

  • Administrative Tasks:

  • Prepare sales reports.

  • Maintain CRM or customer records.
  • Manage billing and order processing.

Skills Required:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent sales and negotiation ability
  • Good taste and knowledge of interior styles and materials
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, CRM, POS) Not mandatory

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or bachelor's degree (preferred in design, business, or marketing) (not mandatory)
  • 1–3 years experience in showroom, retail, or interior design sales (not mandatory)
  • Familiarity with home decor, modular furniture, or architecture industry (a plus)
