Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various electronic, and mechanical equipment and computers in the office.
  • Candidate must have a love of technology and gadgets and an interest in repairing them in a clean, positive work environment
  • Perform high-quality repairs and refurbishment of gadgets like smartwatches, drone cameras, tablets and computers.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment functionality and longevity.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools, manuals, and schematics to aid in the repair process.
  • Replace faulty components, parts, or modules as needed, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
  • Test repaired equipment to verify proper functionality and performance.
  • Document all repairs, including parts used, labour hours, and testing results, accurately and comprehensively.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to optimize repair processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or ITI, technical certification or relevant vocational training is a must.
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems.
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, equipment, and software for troubleshooting and repair.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
  • Commitment to upholding quality standards and delivering exceptional service to clients.
