Job Title: US Accounting and Taxation Executive – NPO Specialist (Strong English Communication)Experience: 2 to 8 YearsLocation: Kaushambi, GhaziabadWorking Hours: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST (Night Shift to align with US hours)Job Type: Full-TimeJob Summary:We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented US Accounting and Taxation Executive with a strong background in Not-for-Profit (NPO) accounting to join our growing team at Pacific Business Park, near Anand Vihar ISBT and close to Kaushambi Metro Station. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in US accounting and tax compliance specifically for NPOs.

This role requires regular interaction with US-based nonprofit clients, accurate financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with IRS requirements for tax-exempt organizations. Excellent English communication skills are a must, as is a client-focused approach. Key Responsibilities:Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting activities for US-based NPO clients.

Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and FASB standards applicable to NPOs. Handle payroll processing, grant tracking, and restricted fund accounting. Prepare and file IRS Form 990 and related state filings for tax-exempt organizations.

Assist clients during IRS audits and respond to notices relevant to nonprofit compliance. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing, with a focus on nonprofit-specific reporting needs. Liaise with US-based nonprofit clients, providing timely financial insights and resolving accounting or tax queries.

Stay updated with changes in IRS regulations affecting nonprofit entities and other relevant accounting standards. Maintain high-quality service delivery and ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and professional support. Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2 to 8 years of experience in US accounting and taxation, with a minimum of 2 year specifically handling NPO clients.

Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IRS Form 990, and nonprofit accounting regulations. Proficiency in accounting tools such as QuickBooks, Xero, Drake, UltraTax, and other nonprofit-focused software. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Strong client relationship and stakeholder management capabilities. Ability to manage multiple NPO client accounts independently and efficiently. Willingness to work the 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST shift to align with US client hours.
