Executive - IT Infrastructure

Role & responsibilities

* Trouble shoot and resolve hardware, software and networking issues across end user systems, servers and networking infrastructure.

* Administer and maintain Active Directory including User Account Management, Group Policy Enforcement and domain Security.

* Configure , Deploy and manage Remote Desktop Services and File Servers, ensuring secure and seamless access to organizational resources.

* Install, Configure, troubleshoot network and local printers.

*Oversee LAN/WAN Infrastructure, including switches, routers, structured cabling and internet gateway devices to ensure high availability and performance.

* Perform Configuration, repair and diagnostics for MS Outlook & Webmail.

* Manage Data Back up and disaster recovery process using enterprise back up solutions to ensure business continuity and compliance with SOPs.

* Ensure Scheduled back ups and data retrieval as per SOPs.

* Administer back up and restoration process for analytical laboratory systems including HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-VIS, Malvern, Polarimeter and stability chambers.

* Conduct regular preventive maintenance for all IT hardware including desktops, laptops, printers and peripheral devices across the plant.

* Monitor system uptime, Network Latency and throughput.

* Perform Installation, configuration, and patching of Windows Server & Client OS.

* Manage End Point Security Solutions, monitor threats and maintain compliance through Antivirus Admin Console.

* Administer and monitor firewall policies and ensure secure perimeter defenses in coordination with cybersecurity policies.

* Deliver First Level and escalated technical support (L1/L2) via helpdesk ensuring SLA adherence and timely incident resolution.

* Maintain Centralized IT asset inventory (Hardware & Licensed Software) for lifecycle tracking.

* Liaise with third party hardware and software vendors for incident resolution, AMC renewals and support escalation.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate from Pharmaceutical Background who have good knowledge of Handling Plant IT Infrastructure, CFR Security Forms, can manage floor users & has knowledge of IT SOPs.
