GAV International School, Sector 89, Gurugram, is inviting applications for the position of Librarian. We are looking for a knowledgeable, organised, and enthusiastic professional who can manage the school library efficiently and foster a love for reading among students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organise library resources, including books, journals, and digital materials
  • Maintain proper records of issue and return of books
  • Guide students in selecting age-appropriate reading materials
  • Encourage reading habits through library activities and reading programs
  • Coordinate with teachers to support curriculum requirements
  • Ensure discipline and a quiet, welcoming library environment
  • Maintain inventory and recommend new books and resources

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Library Science (B.Lib / M.Lib)
  • Prior experience as a school librarian preferred
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Familiarity with library management systems and basic computer skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12, ₹35,878.23 per month
