Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced
Head – Design & DTP
to lead our creative and production team responsible for book design, layout, and print-ready content. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire design and publishing workflow, ensuring timely, high-quality output aligned with academic and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of graphic designers, illustrators, and DTP operators.
  • Oversee the design and layout of educational books, covers, and digital materials.
  • Coordinate with the editorial and production teams for smooth workflow and quality assurance.
  • Ensure adherence to publishing timelines and maintain consistency in design templates and branding.
  • Review and approve final files for printing and digital release.
  • Implement efficient design processes and adopt new tools/technologies for productivity enhancement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Publishing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in book design, publishing, or related creative roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other publishing tools.
  • Excellent eye for detail, color, and typography.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of prepress, printing processes, and digital publishing standards preferred.
