As the Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager
for our hotel, you will be responsible for creating and delivering exceptional dining experiences that set the tone for our property. This pivotal role involves developing the F&B department from the ground up, including concept planning, menu design, staffing, and operational execution.

Merlis Coimbatore
is an elegant new luxury hotel set amidst 4 acres of serene landscapes, ideally located just 2 kilometers from Coimbatore International Airport. The hotel features 142 meticulously designed rooms,

including five premium dining outlets, and an array of world-class facilities, including two grand ballrooms, a spacious banquet lawn, six well equipped meeting rooms. Duties and Responsibilities

Concept Development
  • Collaborate with the executive team to conceptualize and design the food and

beverage outlets, menus, and service standards to align with the hotel's brand

identity and target market.

  • Identify and implement innovative dining trends, guest preferences, and sustainability

practices.

Operational Planning

  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all food and beverage operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and compliance with local health and safety regulations.
  • Plan and set up restaurant layouts, kitchen workflows, and bar stations to maximize productivity and guest satisfaction.
  • Establish partnerships with local suppliers for procurement of quality ingredients, beverages, and equipment.

Recruitment and Training

  • Recruit and onboard a high-performing food and beverage team, including chefs, bartenders, servers, and support staff.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs to ensure team members are well-versed in service standards, product knowledge, and safety protocols.

Day-to-Day Management

  • Oversee daily food and beverage operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Monitor and maintain quality standards across all outlets, including presentation, taste, and service.

Team Leadership

  • Lead by example, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that motivates

staff to achieve excellence.

  • Address team challenges, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies for

continuous improvement.

Guest Engagement

  • Interact with guests to gather feedback and address concerns, ensuring a personalized and memorable dining experience.
  • Develop initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction, including promotions, special events, and loyalty programs.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to ensure the hotel remains a market leader.
  • Innovate and adapt food and beverage offerings to meet evolving guest preferences and market demands.
