Role & responsibilities

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR professional to manage end-to-end Plant HR Operations at MSN Laboratories. The role demands strong expertise in managing a diverse workforce, driving employee engagement, ensuring statutory compliance, and aligning HR practices with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Manpower Planning & Recruitment

  • Work with HODs to assess short-term and long-term manpower requirements.
  • Drive end-to-end recruitment for plant-level positions (blue-collar, staff, and managerial roles).
  • Build a strong pipeline of talent through campus drives, consultancies, and direct sourcing.
  • Ensure timely hiring to meet production and operational targets.

HR Operations & Employee Life Cycle

  • Manage complete employee life cycle including onboarding, induction, confirmation, transfers, and exits.
  • Supervise payroll, HRMS, attendance, leave, and shift management.
  • Drive automation and process efficiency in HR operations.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Build strong rapport with employees, supervisors, and worker representatives.
  • Proactively address grievances and maintain a harmonious work environment.
  • Plan and execute engagement activities to enhance motivation and retention.

Learning & Development (L&D)

  • Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) and identify competency gaps.
  • Coordinate with L&D team for plant-level technical and behavioral training programs.
  • Track training effectiveness and support skill development initiatives for workforce.

Statutory Compliance & Industrial Relations (IR)

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, ESI, PF, CLRA, Factories Act, Shops & Establishments Act, etc.
  • Handle labour inspections, audits, and liaise with statutory authorities.
  • Maintain effective industrial relations and prevent disputes through proactive engagement.

Performance Management

  • Drive the PMS cycle at the plant level including goal setting, mid-year, and annual reviews.
  • Support managers in conducting fair and effective appraisals.
  • Facilitate career growth and succession planning initiatives.

Plant Administration

  • Oversee canteen, transport, security, housekeeping, and other administrative services.
  • Ensure cost-effective and efficient plant administration support.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for smooth operations.

HR Policies & Reporting

  • Implement corporate HR policies at the plant level.
  • Share regular HR dashboards, attrition reports, and manpower analytics with leadership.
  • Suggest improvements to HR processes based on best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Experience: 10 15 years in Plant HR Operations (preferably from Pharma / Manufacturing).
  • Education: MBA (HR) / MHRM from a reputed institute.
  • Strong expertise in manpower planning, IR, statutory compliance, recruitment, and HR operations.
  • Hands-on experience in L&D, employee engagement, and plant administration.
  • Fluency in Telugu, English & Hindi is mandatory.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
