About the Role: Tax Ninja is seeking a motivated Cost Segregation Consultant/Manager to join our Fixed Asset Services team. In this role, you will work directly with clients to deliver compliant, engineering-based cost segregation studies that optimize tax benefits. You will apply accounting, tax and construction cost estimating, asset classification, and detailed review of architectural documents to help clients maximize allowable tax depreciation and reduce their federal tax burden.

This position requires working U.S. business hours to effectively collaborate with our clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø Prepare detailed schedules and reports summarizing and supporting depreciation analyses.

Ø Perform cost estimating using tools such as RSMeans and Marshall Valuation Service when actual cost data is unavailable.

Ø Review and analyze construction cost documentation for assigned projects.

Ø Examine construction drawings/blueprints to identify and properly classify depreciable assets for tax purposes.

Ø Communicate effectively with CPAs and clients to understand goals, project details, and required outcomes.

Qualifications:

Ø Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Ø 1–2 years of cost segregation, construction, tax, or similar industry experience (preferred but not required).

Ø Ability to work U.S. time zones consistently.

Ø Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Ø Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Ø Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ø Consultative mindset with strong interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting with clients.

Ø Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
