Role : Senior Analyst Business Valuation (Intangible Assets & Purchase Price

Location : Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram

Education: Qualified CA / CFA / ACCA / CPA / CMA / MBA (preferably from a premier institute) or Masters degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting with a good academic background

Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Analyst with 3-4 years of experience in intangible asset valuation and Purchase Price Allocation (PPA). The role involves supporting audit teams by reviewing valuation reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insights across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review PPA reports to validate fair value of acquired assets and liabilities in line with IFRS 3, IAS 38, etc.
  • Assess valuation methodologies and assumptions for intangible assets and goodwill.
  • Collaborate with audit teams and external specialists to resolve discrepancies.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on valuation techniques and reporting standards.
  • Support development of training materials and mentor junior team members.
  • Prepare high-quality reports summarizing valuation reviews.
  • Lead and motivate diverse teams, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Leverage tools and technology to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • CA / CFA / ACCA / CPA / CMA / MBA or Masters in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
  • 3 - 4 years of relevant experience in PPA and intangible asset valuation.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with IFRS and industry-specific valuation practices.
  • Proficiency in Excel; exposure to tools like Tableau, Alteryx, VBA preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
