SVP, OFFSHORE LEAD – Decisioning

Job Description

The Decisioning (Data and Analytics) team for Dentsu Media, NA is undergoing a major transformation. We are a department undergoing great growth in both client portfolio as well as client impact. Our simple focus is leveraging people and tools to turn data into an asset for Decisioning across the full media/marketing landscape driving towards business outcomes. As a result, we are seeking a new leader to grow, train, mentor and drive our team of incredibly talented off shore team members. This is a crucial role in the transformation of Dentsu's End-to-End Decisioning (Data and Analytics) Practice. In partnership with the onshore leadership of the Decisioning Practice, the ultimate focus of this leader is to build and elevate the work product, delivery and talent as an integrated capability in service to new business and strategic client delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of analysts, data engineers, and reporting specialists.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Operational Delivery
  • Oversee the day-to-day delivery of analytics, audience sciences, ad operations, end-to-end reporting, and data solutions to global stakeholders.
  • Ensure work is delivered on time, to high quality, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the offshore team and onshore leadership.
  • Translate business needs into actionable work plans for the team.
  • Process & Quality Improvement
  • Implement best practices in data governance, reporting automation, and end-to-end analytics delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Strategic Contribution
  • Partner with the leadership team across the Decisioning practice to expand the offshore team's scope and capabilities.
  • Contribute to the global data strategy and roadmap.

Qualifications:

  • 12 – 15 years experience across media including digital, search, social, programmatic, broadcast and emerging channels
  • Proven experience leading data, analytics, or BI teams, ideally in an offshore or distributed model.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Broad familiarity with tool sets including Reporting Suites (PBI, Tableau, etc), data analytics tools and languages, audience and research tools, data modeling, and data engineering concepts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across time zones and cultures.
