Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef De Partie, Continental at Sachika Hotels in Guwahati. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting continental dishes according to the highest standards. This includes overseeing kitchen operations, maintaining hygiene and sanitation standards, managing inventory, and ensuring all dishes are prepared on time. The Chef De Partie will also be responsible for training junior staff and assisting the Head Chef with menu development and special events.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in continental cuisine and cooking techniques
  • Experience in kitchen operations, inventory management, and maintaining hygiene standards
  • Ability to oversee and train junior kitchen staff
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant culinary qualification or certification
  • Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial
  • Flexibility in hours, including working weekends and holidays
