Today, over 12.3 million people hold a Kotak811 account. Our team is constantly working to build systems that can support and fulfil the banking needs of a billion Indians, and you can become a part of this feat. Who we are looking for: We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic team at Kotak811. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that elevate the overall user experience. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX designers, and developers to design and implement user interface solutions for our digital banking platform. What you will do: - Own the UI design process from concept to execution, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines. - Create prototypes and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and interaction flows. - Collaborate with UX designers to translate user research and insights into actionable design solutions. - Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of UI designs, providing support and guidance as needed. - Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve upon design solutions. - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UI design, incorporating new ideas and techniques into our design process. - Mentor and coach junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous learning within the team. Preferred qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field. - Proven experience (5+ years) in UI design for web and mobile applications, preferably in the fintech or banking industry. - Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar. - Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale. - Experience working in an agile development environment, with a focus on iterative design and rapid prototyping. - A portfolio showcasing a range of UI design projects, with a strong emphasis on usability, aesthetics, and attention to detail.
