  1. Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

  2. Lead the implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPM, 5S, and other operational excellence tools.

  3. Identify process gaps and drive improvement projects to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance productivity.

  4. Develop and maintain a structured CI (Continuous Improvement) roadmap for all plants.

  5. Performance Management

  6. Establish KPIs and benchmarking standards across manufacturing units.

  7. Drive OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), yield, and cost optimization initiatives.

  8. Track, analyze, and report manufacturing performance data with actionable insights.

  9. Strategy & Transformation

  10. Partner with leadership to align manufacturing excellence programs with business strategy.

  11. Support digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0 practices, and automation initiatives.

  12. Lead cross-functional projects to deliver productivity savings, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements.

  13. People & Capability Development

  14. Build a culture of operational excellence by training and coaching plant teams on Lean and CI methodologies.

  15. Conduct workshops, certifications, and mentoring for employees to drive sustainability of initiatives.

  16. Act as change agent to foster continuous improvement mindset at all levels.

  17. Compliance & Sustainability

  18. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

  19. Support sustainability initiatives such as energy conservation, waste reduction, and green manufacturing practices.
  20. Standardize best practices across plants and ensure knowledge sharing.

Key Deliverables

  • Year-on-year cost savings and productivity improvements.
  • Sustained improvements in OEE, quality, and safety metrics.
  • Successful deployment of Lean Six Sigma projects with measurable business impact.
  • Enhanced employee engagement in CI programs.
  • Benchmarking and adoption of world-class manufacturing practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Industrial) or related field; Masters preferred.
  • 812 years of experience in manufacturing/operations with at least 45 years in a continuous improvement or manufacturing excellence role.
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, TPM, Kaizen, 5S, and related methodologies.
  • Proven track record of driving large-scale improvement initiatives in manufacturing.
  • Exposure to digital manufacturing/Industry 4.0 tools will be an added advantage.
