About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated
Lead Web Developer
to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader who can guide and mentor a team of developers while also contributing to the architecture, design, and implementation of our web applications. This role is crucial for driving our web strategy, ensuring high-quality code standards, and delivering innovative solutions that meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership & Mentorship:
    Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of web developers. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
  • Architecture & Design:
    Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and design scalable, robust, and maintainable web architectures.
  • Full-Stack Development:
    Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code across the full stack, from front-end user interfaces to back-end services and APIs.
  • Project Management:
    Oversee the entire development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment. Manage project timelines, assign tasks, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Code Quality & Standards:
    Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, security, and performance. Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Innovation & Research:
    Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and industry trends. Propose and implement new tools and methodologies to improve development processes.
  • Troubleshooting:
    Act as the primary point of contact for resolving complex technical issues and debugging critical application problems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven Experience:
    Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in web development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
  • Expertise in Web Technologies:
    Deep knowledge of
    JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

  • Front-End Proficiency:
    Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as
    React, Angular, or
    .
  • Back-End Proficiency:
    Solid experience with back-end technologies like
    , Python (Django/Flask), or Ruby on Rails
    . Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) is essential.
  • Cloud & DevOps:
    Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g.,
    AWS, Azure, GCP
    ) and containerization technologies (e.g.,
    Docker, Kubernetes
    ).
  • Version Control:
    Expert knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Communication:
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Problem-Solving:
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.

Education

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent professional experience will be considered.
