Job Overview:

The Stellar Don Bosco Academy, Nerul, is seeking a creative, tech-savvy, and proactive Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist to lead both our online and offline marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing the school's visibility, engaging our online community, and driving meaningful growth across social media and digital platforms.

In addition to digital marketing expertise, the candidate should possess strong website design and front-end development skills to maintain and continually improve the school's website and digital touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital & Social Media Marketing

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to enhance the school's online presence.
  • Plan and execute engaging social media campaigns that promote the academy's achievements, events, student activities, and community initiatives.
  • Increase followers and engagement on social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) and convert online interactions into measurable outcomes such as inquiries and admissions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, teachers, students, and administration to source authentic, high-quality content (photos, videos, success stories, etc.).
  • Manage paid promotions and targeted campaigns to reach prospective parents and students.
  • Monitor social media analytics and trends to continuously refine strategies.

Offline Marketing & Public Outreach

· Plan and execute offline marketing initiatives such as fairs, community events, and local outreach programmes.

· Coordinate design, printing, and distribution of promotional materials such as brochures, banners, and posters.

· Build partnerships with local communities, educational networks, and media outlets for greater brand visibility.

· Support admissions and enrollment drives through on-ground campaigns and events.

· Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all offline and online touchpoints.

Website Design & Management

  • Design, develop, and manage the academy's website to ensure it is modern, responsive, and user-friendly.
  • Update web content regularly to reflect the latest news, information, and events.
  • Ensure the website aligns with the Don Bosco branding and is optimized for SEO and mobile use.
  • Work with hosting and IT partners to ensure website security, uptime, and performance.

Analytics & Performance Tracking

  • Track and analyze engagement metrics across digital channels using tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite.
  • Provide regular reports on growth, reach, and conversion performance.
  • Recommend strategies based on data insights to improve visibility and admissions reach.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in digital marketing and website design (experience in the institute / academy / education sector preferred).
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with CMS platforms like WordPress or Webflow.
  • Strong understanding of social media management, content creation, SEO, and Google Ads.
  • Creative storytelling ability with excellent written and visual communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and collaborators in the academy setting.
  • Excellent command over spoken and written English with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and professionally.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in graphic design (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Familiarity with basic video editing (Premiere Pro, CapCut, and Da Vinci Resolve).
  • Knowledge of education-focused digital campaigns and community outreach.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Growth in the academy's social media followers and engagement rate.
  • Increase in website traffic and time spent on key pages.
  • Measurable rise in admissions inquiries and event participation through digital channels.
  • Timely and consistent updates of digital platforms reflecting school activities and achievements.
