Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Ad Tech Stack Developer based in Bengaluru, with some work from home acceptable. The Ad Tech Stack Developer will be responsible for software development, system integration, database management, and programming tasks. The individual in this role will also work with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to manage web interfaces and ensure seamless integration across various platforms.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Software Development and Programming
  • Experience with System Integration and Databases
  • Proficiency with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for web interface development
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
  • Experience in ad tech stack development is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Core resposibilities:


• Backend development for high-volume ad serving and bidding systems.


• Implement RTB protocols (OpenRTB) for DSP/SSP integrations.


• Build APIs for campaign management, targeting, and reporting.


• Develop ad tracking, attribution, and analytics modules.


• Optimize for low latency (millisecond-level response times) and scalability.


• Work with data pipelines for audience segmentation and targeting.


• Integrate with third-party ad exchanges, verification tools, and data providers.

Specialized Ad Tech Components :


• OpenRTB protocol implementations


• VAST / VPAID / OMID standards for video and viewability


• Brand safety / fraud detection integrations (IAS, DoubleVerify)


• User identity resolution (ID5, Unified ID 2.0, RampID)

Skills Needed:


• Strong distributed systems knowledge (low-latency, high-throughput)


• Understanding of digital advertising ecosystem (DSP, SSP, ad exchanges, header bidding)


• Experience with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, TCF 2.0)


• Ability to work with real-time bidding algorithms


• Comfort with big data and analytics
