Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, sections, elevations, and detailed working drawings.

  • Interpret and convert conceptual sketches into accurate CAD drawings.

  • Develop detailed construction drawings as per design and regulatory standards.

  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure design accuracy.

  • Maintain organized drawing files and update revisions when required.

  • Ensure drawings comply with building codes, standards, and firm guidelines.

  • Assist in preparing drawings for statutory approvals and client presentations.

  • Support the design team during all project stages, from concept to execution.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma/Certification in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Draftsman in an architectural firm.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory) and knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other drafting/design software preferred.

  • Strong understanding of architectural detailing, materials, and construction practices.

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural/structural drawings.

  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in interior fit-out drawings and coordination.

  • Familiarity with local building bye-laws, regulations, and approval processes.

  • Knowledge of 3D visualization software will be an added advantage.
