Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to lead the configuration and implementation of Odoo ERP systems tailored to customer needs based out of our back office at Moothakunnam, Ernakulam . The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate customer requirements into effective ERP solutions. This role involves close collaboration with clients, end-to-end configuration, and ensuring seamless integration of Odoo modules to drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

·      Interact with customers to gather, analyze, and clearly understand their business requirements, pain points, and objectives.

·      Perform end-to-end configuration of Odoo ERP modules (such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, CRM, HR, and Project Management) based on customer-specific needs.

·      Conduct gap analysis between customer requirements and Odoo standard functionalities, recommending customizations or workarounds as necessary.

·      Design and document functional specifications, workflows, and process maps to guide development and implementation.

·      Collaborate with technical teams (developers and analysts) to ensure configurations align with overall system architecture.

·      Provide training and support to end-users during the implementation phase, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and go-live support.

·      Troubleshoot functional issues, optimize system performance, and propose improvements to enhance user experience.

·      Stay updated with the latest Odoo versions, features, and best practices to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

·      Participate in pre-sales activities, such as demos and requirement scoping, when required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

·      Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

·      Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant or in a similar ERP consulting role.

·      Proven track record in end-to-end Odoo ERP implementations, including configuration, customization, and integration.

·      Strong knowledge of Odoo modules and their interdependencies.

·      Experience in customer-facing roles, with excellent communication skills to elicit and clarify requirements.

·      Strong business process analysis and gap analysis skills.

·      Proficient in interpreting and executing BRDs.

·      Experience with functional testing and UAT coordination.

Essential Skills

·      Deep understanding of business processes in areas like finance, supply chain, sales, and operations.

·      Proficiency in Odoo configuration tools, workflows, and reporting.

·      Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and think strategically.

·      Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills for effective client interactions.

·      Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies for project management.

·      Ability to work independently or in a team environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

·       Familiarity with , Odoo Community, or Enterprise platforms.

·       Basic Python knowledge for collaboration with developers.

·       Experience in ERP implementations for industries like manufacturing, retail, or logistics.

·      Odoo certification is a plus.
