Battery Management Systems Engineer

Scratchnest is looking for an experienced Senior BMS Engineer (6+ years) to lead the architecture, development, and validation of lithium-ion battery packs for smart power modules and industrial systems.
What You'll Do:
- Lead end-to-end BMS development for LFP/NMC battery packs — including protection, balancing, power path, pre-charge/contactors, and communication.
2.Oversee validation activities such as bench/HIL testing, thermal and EMI/EMC pre-checks, regression testing, and field issue resolution.
3.Drive IC selection (AFE/FET/sensing), embedded C development, CAN/SMBus communication, and production handover — ensuring reliability in Indian operating conditions.
What We're Looking For:
1.6+ years of hands-on experience in BMS design, mixed-signal PCB development, and embedded C for production programs.
2.Strong proficiency in CAN/CANoe/DBC tools.
3.Solid understanding of Li-ion chemistries (LFP/NMC), sensing chains, calibration, and fault handling.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with ISO 26262 workflows, MATLAB/Simulink, or ESS/EV system deployments.
