Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:

Aerospace NPD and Engineering Programme Head will lead development and execution of aerospace projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, project management, and technical expertise in aerospace engineering.

Certifications in PMP OR equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and manage project timelines and budgets

  • Technical Expertise in Aerospace Engineering Principles.

  • Team Leadership- Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and other professionals

  • Technical Overseeing of Design, Development, Testing, and Evaluation of aerospace systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

  • Risk Management- Identify, Assess, and Mitigate Project risks, developing contingency plans as needed.

  • Stakeholder Management- Communicate Project progress and issues to stakeholders, including Clients, team members, and Senior Management.

  • Quality Assurance- Ensure adherence to aerospace industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Preferred candidate profile :

10 years minimum experience in Aerospace Engineering or Project Management and,

5 years minimum experience in Leadership Role

PMP OR Other Project Management certification desirable.

1.Strong leadership, project management, and technical expertise in aerospace engineering.

2.Excellent spoken and written communication skills, to be able to communicate technical information to non technical Stakeholders.

3.Demonstrable success in managing Complex Aerospace Projects with ON TIME Delivery

4.Ability to Guide and Motivate Team members.
