Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented
Planning Engineer
to manage the scheduling, monitoring, and reporting of real estate projects. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget by preparing detailed project plans, tracking progress, and identifying potential risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Scheduling
:Develop and manage detailed project schedules, timelines, and milestones using software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Create work breakdown structures (WBS) and allocate resources effectively.
Progress Monitoring
:Track project progress against the baseline schedule and update stakeholders on key milestones.
Identify delays, analyze root causes, and suggest corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.
Coordination
:Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project alignment.
Coordinate with procurement teams to track material deliveries and align them with the project timeline.
Reporting and Documentation
:Prepare detailed progress reports, including project schedules, variance analysis, and forecasts.
Maintain project documentation, including schedules, baseline plans, and revisions.
Risk Analysis and Mitigation
:Identify potential risks and delays in the project timeline and propose mitigation strategies.
Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen issues.
Cost and Resource Management
:Coordinate with cost control teams to track the project budget and resource allocation.
- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, materials, and machinery to meet project goals.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in project planning tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar software.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and real estate project lifecycles.
- Excellent knowledge of planning principles, critical path analysis (CPM), and earned value management (EVM).
- Experience in G+10 to G+22 residential and commercial projects is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in high-rise.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Primavera, and MSP for reviewing project drawings.
- Familiarity with construction safety practices and quality control processes.
