The Steward is responsible for providing courteous and efficient food and beverage service to guests, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the restaurant, and supporting the service team in delivering an excellent guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests courteously and assist them with seating as required.
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages as per company standards.
- Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and ready for the next guests.
- Follow proper billing procedures and coordinate with the cashier/captain.
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
- Ensure all orders are processed through KOT before serving.
- Refill water, clear tables, and attend to guest requests promptly.
- Follow safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Assist in setting up events, parties, or special promotions as instructed.
- Report any guest complaints or unusual incidents immediately to the supervisor.
- Support team members and maintain a positive and professional attitude.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10th / 12th Pass.
- Prior experience in F&B service (restaurant/bar) will be an added advantage.
- Good communication skills and a pleasant personality.
- Basic knowledge of beverages and menu items.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
- Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹11, ₹13,000.00 per month
