Work mode- Remote until new office opens in Chennai.

JD:

We are seeking an experienced LAN/WAN Project Manager to oversee and coordinate the planning, implementation, and execution of local and wide area network infrastructure projects. This role involves working closely with technical teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure network projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage LAN/WAN infrastructure projects from initiation through delivery.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Develop detailed project plans, define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes to ensure successful project execution.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Track project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Work with network engineers to design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN systems.
  • Ensure network designs meet security, performance, and availability requirements.
  • Oversee equipment procurement, site surveys, cabling, and configuration activities.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and document lessons learned.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in networking (LAN/WAN) or IT infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of network technologies including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
  • Experience with network design, installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
  • PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
