Organisation: AEEE: Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE) supports policy implementation and enables the energy efficiency market with a not-for-profit motive. AEEE promotes energy efficiency as a resource and collaborates with industry and government to transform the market for energy-efficient products and services, thereby contributing toward meeting India's goals on energy security, clean energy, and climate change. AEEE collaborates with diverse stakeholders such as policymakers, government officials, businesses and industries, consumers, researchers, and civil society organizations.

Designation: Director, Low Carbon Built Environment and Sustainable CoolingReporting to: Senior Director, Programs and ResearchLocation: DelhiResponsibilities:Identify, create, and pursue business development opportunities by developing big ideas and continuing domain work to have a significant impact. Lead the development of new programs, policies, financing models, and deployment of appropriate technologies at scale towards: decarbonizing the building sector, sustainable and heat-resilient affordable housing, increasing access to thermal comfort, cooling and heat adaptation and reducing cooling related emissions.

Provide thought leadership, strategic communications and leadership on the team's policy, domain research, and analyses. Collaborate and engage with the government, AEEE member companies, and funders. Serve as a spokesperson for AEEE on a broad range of platforms.

Desired Profile:Ph. D. / Master's degree in public policy, architecture, engineering, building science management or related field.15 years of relevant experience (business, industry, research, policy, technology) in the built environment and HVAC&R-related work, 3 years of fundraising experience. International experience of having worked on building decarbonization or sustainable cooling projects.

Strong executive presence with a good network and track record of developing relationships with funders, clients, partners, and service providers. Demonstrated experience in conceiving ideas, developing proposals, and managing programs. Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring teams.

Demonstrated ability to identify gaps and manage research. Expertise in policy/technology/financing solutions. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
