About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our organizations network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, security, and performance of LAN, WAN, VPNs, and other network systems while supporting business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  • Implement network security measures, including firewalls, access control, and VPNs.
  • Conduct network assessments, audits, and risk analysis.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network solutions with servers, applications, and cloud platforms.
  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and asset inventories.
  • Support network-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users or other IT staff.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer, Network Administrator, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG).
  • Knowledge of VPN, VLAN, and subnetting concepts.
  • Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNets) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS.
  • Experience with SD-WAN, MPLS, or software-defined networking.
  • Familiarity with firewall and security solutions (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
  • Knowledge of network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible).
