Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

MarkEn Healthtech Limited, a pioneering manufacturer of cutting-edge healthtech and medical equipment, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to drive innovation and quality in our product range.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify deficiencies in mechanical processes and propose improvements.
  • Design and develop prototypes and components for healthtech equipment.
  • Analyze and test prototypes and product revisions to ensure safety and performance.
  • Supervise and support junior engineers in the preparation of CAD drawings and technical documentation.
  • Develop, initiate, and manage all phases of mechanical engineering projects in a regulated medical manufacturing environment.
  • Prepare documentation of critical analysis and suggest solutions for mechanical issues.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to allocate resources and track project progress.
  • Ensure all products comply with relevant industry standards, such as ISO 13485, and other medical device regulations (preferred).
  • Write technical manuals and provide support to operators and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience preferred in mechanical design or engineering, ideally within healthtech or medical device manufacturing.
  • Thorough understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and CAD software.
  • Creative problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards specific to healthtech equipment (ISO 13485, GMP, etc.) highly desirable.

Education and Training Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar discipline; Professional Engineering license and ABET-accredited education preferred.
  • Experience through internships, co-ops, or junior engineering roles is beneficial.
