Key Responsibilities

· Lead design, training, and deployment of foundational AI models across use cases

· Fine-tune large language models (LLMs) like GPT, Claude, and open-source models for enterprise applications

· Guide a team of junior AI engineers (IIT graduates) in solving high-impact problems

· Develop supervised and unsupervised learning pipelines using modern ML frameworks

· Integrate generative AI models into Piramal Finance internal platforms and tech systems

· Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to define AI-driven solutions

· Maintain model performance, scalability, and alignment with compliance and risk standards

· Stay ahead of trends in generative AI, LLMs, and representation learning

Required Skills & Experience

· 3–5 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML (supervised, unsupervised, foundational model building)

· Strong hold on Agentic Architecture, MCPs, RAG frameworks

· Knowledge of Reasoning and SoTA models

· Strong experience with generative AI models (LLMs, transformers, diffusion models)

· Experience with frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers

· Proficiency in Python and ML Ops (Docker, Git, model deployment pipelines)

· Exposure to fine-tuning or customizing LLMs using tools like LoRA, PEFT, RAG pipelines

· Strong understanding of ML lifecycle, vector databases, embeddings, prompt engineering

· Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead model development end-to-end

· Prior exposure to NBFC/BFSI domain in India is a strong plus

Preferred Qualifications

· Graduate from a top-tier engineering college (IIT/NIT/BITS or equivalent)

· Experience with enterprise-grade AI deployment or working with finance datasets
