  • Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness is achieved throughout the university including the immediate outside areas/ periphery.
  • Ensure all classrooms, labs, seminar halls, offices; auditoriums are cleaned.
  • Ensuring that any rubbish is discarded properly and in accordance with the University Recycling Policy.
  • Works in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments.
  • Responds positively to the feedback and ensures that the relevant changes are implemented.
  • Checks and verifies accommodation status report regularly.
  • Records and completes the Attendants Report accurately.
  • Reports lost and damaged items.
  • Empties soiled linen and cleans guest rooms / accommodations / hostels, replenishes amenities wherever applicable
  • Keeps the caddy and all equipment used neat and in working condition
  • Cleans the pantry before closing the shift.
  • Performs tasks on direction from the Executive Housekeeper/ Assignee like movement of furniture from offices and other spaces within the campus/ outside.
  • Ensure that keys when not in use are returned to the secure and designated location.
  • Complying with Health & Safety norms to ensure a safe working environment for all.
  • Attending induction, training and any development programs as the part of their duty.
  • Clean all equipment used such as vacuum cleaners scrubbing machines, and other equipments.
  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, scrubbing and polishing.
  • Ensure all rooms are cleaned and inspected according to the specified standards.
  • Deal with complaints /requests with professionalism and patience.
  • Update the supervisor with daily feedback received from the stakeholders (if any).
  • Check stock inventory levels of all consumables and replace when required.
