Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate QA Engineer with strong manual testing skills and a good understanding of automation concepts. The ideal candidate should be able to work collaboratively within an Agile team to ensure product quality across web and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

 Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for web and backend applications.

 Develop detailed test scenarios and cases based on user stories and business requirements. Execute test cases manually and report defects clearly using defect management tools (e.g., Jira,Azure DevOps).

 Assist in automation test script execution and contribute to developing new scripts using tools such as Selenium or similar frameworks.

 Perform API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.

 Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and collaborate closely with developers and product teams.

 Maintain proper test documentation, including test plans, reports, and metrics.

 Report and track bugs through to resolution and verify fixes.

 Support regression testing during deployments and releases.

Required Skills:

 Strong understanding of QA methodologies, STLC, and defect life cycle.

 Good knowledge of manual testing concepts, test planning, and test case design. Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium/Playwright (execution/development knowledge is a plus).

 Experience with API testing

 Basic understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins preferred).

 Exposure to database testing (SQL queries validation).

 Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

 Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment.

 Experience in Oracle EBS or ERP testing will be an added advantage.

Good to Have:

 Knowledge of version control systems like Git.

 Exposure to cloud-based testing environments.

 Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
