Job Summary:

The candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring risk across equity and derivatives segments, ensuring adherence to SEBI and exchange regulations, and maintaining exposure limits for clients and dealers. The role requires strong analytical ability, sound market understanding, and experience in handling RMS functions in a broking environment.

Role & responsibilities :

  • Monitor real-time risk and exposure limits for clients, dealers, and branches across Equity, F&O, and Commodity segments.
  • Set up and review client-wise trading limits based on margin availability and internal policies.
  • Ensure compliance with NSE/BSE/SEBI risk management guidelines.
  • Review and manage collateral/margin requirements daily.
  • Handle square-off activities and margin calls in case of shortfall or risk breach.
  • Coordinate with dealers, compliance, and back-office teams to ensure smooth trading operations.
  • Generate and analyze risk reports for management and regulatory reviews.
  • Review systems and processes to identify and mitigate potential operational or trading risks.
  • Provide support during new system implementations or RMS policy updates.
  • Supervise a team of junior RMS executives.

Preferred candidate profile:

  • In-depth knowledge of NSE, BSE, F&O, and Commodity market risk parameters.
  • Proficiency in ODIN, NOW, NEST, BOW, or similar trading platforms.
  • Familiarity with SPAN files, VAR margin, ELM, M2M, and client exposure management.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a time-sensitive environment.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate / Post-Graduate in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
  • NISM Series VII / VIII certification preferred.
