Unix and Windows System Administrator.

Contract: Longterm Contract

Work: PAN INDIA

Min:7+ Years

Requirements:

  • Responsible for leading and managing the administrative team for the UNIX/LINUX server infrastructure
  • Responsible for operational support and maintenance of 3,900+ servers located globally, running Solaris and Redhat Enterprise Linux
  • Reviews Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system software updates and identifies those that merit action
  • Provide dedicated support to all 'Change the Bank' and 'Run the Bank' activities for Global Platinum Unix infrastructure
  • Keeping the Platinum Unix environment compliant with the technology roadmap, such as OS & hardware upgrades, 3rd party software upgrades
  • Working closely with UNIX engineering and third party vendors, particularly around Exadata roadmap
  • Work with project delivery team on various projects for Platinum infrastructure
  • Perform standard OS Upgrades for Platinum estate
  • Administer multiple server OS
  • Conduct collaboration and open communication
