We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our IT team at Alteryx. In this role, you will be responsible for administering, managing, and supporting Windows, Linux, and Microsoft 365 environments including Entra ID (Azure AD) within a hybrid infrastructure that spans on-premises and cloud systems.

Our ideal candidate is a problem solver and innovator with advanced Microsoft 365 expertise, strong automation skills (PowerShell, Ansible), and a proven background in both Windows and Linux system administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Align IT solutions with business needs through a customer-first approach.

  • Administer, manage, and optimize Windows, Linux, and Microsoft 365 services.

  • Support and enhance Microsoft 365 environments via portal, PowerShell, and Graph API.

  • Manage hybrid infrastructure, including on-premises servers and cloud instances (AWS EC2).

  • Automate tasks and processes using PowerShell scripts, Ansible playbooks, and Microsoft Power Platform (Flow/Power Automate, PowerApps).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, DBAs, cloud, and network engineers) to resolve complex IT challenges.

  • Engage with Microsoft Support and other vendors to resolve escalated issues.

  • Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, and training materials for IT staff and end users.

  • Provide 24/7 support, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays (India shifts).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of system administration experience across Windows, Linux, and Microsoft 365, including Entra ID (Azure AD).

  • Proven expertise in deploying and managing Microsoft 365 technologies.

  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills (6+ years).

  • 1+ year of experience with Ansible for automation playbooks.

  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (HTTP, SSL, LDAP).

  • Demonstrated troubleshooting and cross-team collaboration skills.

  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and OneDrive in enterprise environments.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Flow/Power Automate, PowerApps).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Azure, containerization, and cloud technologies.

  • Additional scripting skills (Python, Ruby, etc.).

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

  • Experience with hybrid identity solutions (Azure AD Connect).

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
