Role Description

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate CFD Engineer who has hands-on experience with open-source simulation tools such as OpenFOAM. The candidate will work on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) projects across diverse engineering domains — from product design to digital twin development.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, run, and analyze CFD simulations using open-source software (OpenFOAM, SU2, etc.).

Perform FEA simulations for structural, thermal, or coupled physics problems.

Pre-process geometry and mesh using tools like Salome, Gmsh, or snappyHexMesh.

Post-process results using ParaView or similar visualization tools.

Collaborate with AI/ML and software teams to integrate simulation workflows into Digital Twin systems.

Prepare simulation reports and communicate insights to internal teams or clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in CFD or FEA projects (academic or professional).

Hands-on experience with OpenFOAM or similar open-source CFD tools.

Understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and numerical methods.

Familiarity with FEA software (e.g., Code_Aster, CalculiX, or ANSYS**/Abaqus exposure preferred).

Basic scripting or programming knowledge (Python, Bash, or C++ preferred).

Nice to Have:

Exposure to Cloud-based simulations or HPC environments.

Experience integrating simulations with Machine Learning or Digital Twins.

Contribution to open-source CFD/FEA communities or GitHub projects.
