He is responsible for successfully implementing Method statement and risk assessment procedure at with a support and coordination of all engineer incharges and Agency incharges.

  • He should have project safety management experience.
  • Must have hands on experience on green field / brown field projects

Key Role & Responsibility:

  • To conduct regular meeting with the site team on job planning and reviewing the method statement and Risk assessment prepared by agency and engineer Incharges
  • To check and evaluate the effectiveness of the action taken or proposed to be taken to prevent personal injuries.
  • To advise on safety aspects in the all jobs by reviewing method statements, HIRA and JSA for all High-risk Jobs.
  • To provide advice on the matters related to carrying out project safety inspections at the sites.
  • To prepare & maintain the data of Risk assessments prepared & implemented on site.
  • To design and conduct suitable training and educational program for the Risk assessment.
  • To study and analysis all accident/incidents and advice for the best safety control measures to be taken and ensure the same.
  • Participate in Contractor safety meeting and raise high severity points related to implementation of recommendation from risk assessment
  • Provide inputs to management on strengthening the over all safety management system

To prepare and submit weekly/Monthly MIS to Project Safety manager

Education:-

  • Must be graduate in engineering in Mechanical/Electrical/ Civil/ Construction Management from a recognized institution
  • Must have a SCTE&VT/AICTE recognized degree or PG diploma in Industrial Safety with a paper in construction safety.
