Job Title: Data Lead

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead a team of developers and analysts across Python, Snowflake, and Tableau projects.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Define best practices for data engineering, analytics, and visualization.
• Mentor junior team members and conduct code reviews and dashboard audits.

Python (Data Engineering / Automation)

• Develop robust data pipelines and automation scripts using Python.
• Implement data transformation logic and integrate APIs for data ingestion.
• Build reusable modules for data validation, cleansing, and enrichment.
• Work with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy, and Airflow.

Snowflake (Data Warehousing)

• Architect and manage Snowflake environments including schema design, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
• Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and manage data sharing across teams.
• Integrate Snowflake with ETL tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are met.

Tableau (BI & Visualization)

• Design and deliver advanced Tableau dashboards and visualizations.
• Define KPIs and metrics in collaboration with business teams.
• Optimize Tableau performance and manage Tableau Server/Cloud configurations.
• Train users on Tableau usage and promote self-service analytics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics.
• Proven expertise in Python, Snowflake, and Tableau.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud data architecture.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with dbt, Airflow, or other orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Knowledge of machine learning or statistical modeling is a plus.
• Certifications in Snowflake, Tableau, or Python are advantageous.
