How will you make an impact in this role?

The position will have responsibility for conceptualizing super premium, differentiated events and experiences for American Express customers in India. This role places a focus on innovation and maximizing engagement with the premium portfolio and developing newer avenues for customer engagement. The incumbent will be responsible to:

  • Support on experience strategies, establish business plans & lead initiatives to grow and deepen engagement with the American Express cardmembers in India
  • Deliver on key business drivers like enhancing, product value propositions, billings, customer retention through experiences
  • Understand the HNI segment, develop insights on what the customer wants and identify gaps/unmet needs of the customers
  • Collaborate with Product teams on various initiatives to drive portfolio engagement.
  • Work with other teams and business managers to optimize overall Blue Box business growth, cultivate cross sell opportunities to deepen customer relationships
  • Collaborate with multiple functions such as Public Relations, Relationship Managers, Operations, Finance, Legal and Compliance
  • Track competition closely and launch best-in-class experiences for most premium card members.
Business Outcomes:
  • Deliver a robust experience strategy that resonates with the target audience
  • Identify opportunities and partners to drive new engagements.
  • Enhance the value proposition pillars with experiences for American Express select cards
  • Understand the stated/unstated needs of the customer & influence effectively to develop solutions oriented towards catering to those passion pillars.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage communication calendar (email, DMI, Website) for products and deliver creatives by working closely with the creative agency
  • Collaborate with other teams like product, marketing, offers, compliance, etc. to deliver creative solutions for business objectives/challenges
  • Execute key product and brand campaigns – plan campaigns based on insights post data analysis
  • Monthly reports and MIS on communications delivered. Closely track performance of communication across platforms – Emailers, app, website, Cardmember account page, etc.
  • Help localise global campaigns for India market
Mandatory Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or MBA / post-graduation in business / marketing.
  • 7-10 yrs. + of proven track record in events and experiences space & the Financial or luxury lifestyle sector
  • Prior Brand marketing or agency experience is preferred
  • Exceptional ability to think strategically, challenging the status quo to deliver product innovation resulting in competitive advantage and commercial performance
  • Demonstrated success in conceptualizing & delivering events and experiences.
  • Passionate customer advocacy with distinguished ability to identify and fulfil customer needs
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver solutions with superior customer experience and innovative approaches
  • Strong communication and interpersonal, along with proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams; must be able to influence at all levels
  • External focused, results oriented and good project management skills.
  • Self-motivator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, notably Excel and PowerPoint
