Role & responsibilities

  • Finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements for individuals, firms, LLPs, and companies.
  • Handling Statutory, Internal, and Tax Audits, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and tax laws.
  • Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns) and performing reconciliations.
  • Income Tax computation, filing of returns, advance tax working, and assistance in assessments.
  • Managing TDS calculations, return filing, and ensuring timely compliance with all statutory deadlines.
  • Performing ROC filings, MCA compliance, and other Company Law-related documentation such as annual filings, incorporation, and director KYC.
  • Maintaining books of accounts in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and other accounting software with accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinating and communicating with clients for data collection, clarifications, and resolving queries.
  • Assisting in advisory and consulting assignments related to taxation, business setup, and compliance planning.
  • Responding to statutory and tax notices and supporting clients during audits or assessments.
  • Leading and supervising team members, ensuring quality and timely completion of assignments.
  • Managing office operations, administrative tasks, and ensuring effective workflow management.
  • Staying updated with changes in Income Tax, GST, and Company Law regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or equivalent).
  • 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Finalization, Taxation, GST, and Audit.
  • Strong knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting/reporting tools.
  • Well-versed with Income Tax, GST, TDS, ROC/MCA filings, and other statutory compliances.
  • Ability to handle clients independently and manage end-to-end accounting operations.
  • Good understanding of Company Law procedures and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
  • Proactive, organized, and capable of meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Preferred candidates from CA firms, audit firms, or compliance backgrounds.
