Position Overview

Position Title: Senior Developer & Architect

Department: Engineering

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to architect and develop AI-powered platforms across three critical projects with different technical requirements. You will be responsible for system architecture design, AI/ML integration, backend development, and establishing development standards that enable scalable, intelligent applications across multiple client environments.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties (80% of time)

System Architecture & Design

  • Design scalable backend architectures for AI-powered applications
  • Architect AI/ML pipelines and data processing systems
  • Design microservices architectures with proper service boundaries
  • Create technical specifications and system design documentation
  • Lead architectural decisions across multiple concurrent projects

AI/ML Development & Integration

  • Integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) with custom business logic
  • Develop RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines
  • Implement vector database systems (Qdrant, Pinecone, Weaviate)
  • Build knowledge processing and semantic search systems
  • Optimize AI model performance and response accuracy

Backend Development

  • Develop robust APIs and backend services )
  • Implement real-time processing for voice and chat systems
  • Build integration layers for third-party services and APIs
  • Design and optimize database schemas and queries
  • Ensure code quality, testing, and development best practices

Secondary Duties (20% of time)

Technical Leadership & Mentoring

  • Code review and technical guidance for development team
  • Establish development standards and architectural patterns
  • Create technical documentation and development guidelines
  • Research and evaluate new AI/ML technologies and frameworks

Technical Requirements

Must-Have Skills

Development Experience

  • 5+ years backend development in production environments
  • Expert-level Python (FastAPI, Django) or (Express, TypeScript)
  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases, and optimization
  • API design and development (REST, WebSocket, GraphQL)

AI/ML Integration

  • Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
  • Experience with AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar)
  • Understanding of vector databases and semantic search
  • Knowledge of RAG pipelines and knowledge retrieval systems

Architecture & Design

  • Microservices architecture design and implementation
  • System design for high-scale, real-time applications
  • Database design and performance optimization
  • Experience with event-driven architectures

Preferred SkillsAI/ML Specialization

  • Experience building conversational AI systems
  • Knowledge of NLP, embeddings, and vector similarity
  • Understanding of fine-tuning and prompt engineering
  • Experience with AI model evaluation and optimization

Technical Infrastructure

  • AWS services (Lambda, RDS, S3, SQS, API Gateway)
  • Docker containerization and deployment
  • Redis, caching strategies, and performance optimization
  • Git workflows, CI/CD, and deployment automation
