Assistant Bartender Job Description

Primary Role: To support bartenders in preparing and serving beverages, maintaining bar cleanliness, and ensuring smooth bar operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in mixing and garnishing drinks according to recipes.
  • Restock bar supplies like ice, glassware, garnishes, and mixers.
  • Clean and sanitize bar surfaces, tools, and equipment.
  • Check guest IDs and ensure responsible alcohol service.
  • Take drink orders and serve guests when needed.
  • Maintain inventory and report shortages.
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
  • Support bartenders during busy hours and help manage customer flow.

Skills Required:

  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a team.
