Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Summary:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The CFO will play a key role in shaping the companys financial strategy, managing its financial risks, and driving the growth and profitability of the business. This role requires a strategic leader who can work closely with other senior executives to align financial goals with overall company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Strategy and Leadership:

  2. Develop and implement the company's financial strategy in alignment with business goals.

  3. Provide financial leadership and strategic insights to the CEO and senior management team.
  4. Monitor financial performance and recommend actions to drive profitability and cost efficiency.
  5. Ensure that financial strategies support the company's long-term objectives.

  6. Financial Planning and Analysis:

  7. Lead the company's budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

  8. Analyse financial results and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  9. Provide management with detailed financial reports, analyses, and recommendations.

  10. Financial Reporting and Compliance:

  11. Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with all accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS).

  12. Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and legal financial requirements.
  13. Manage external audits and ensure timely filing of necessary reports with authorities.

  14. Risk Management:

  15. Identify and manage financial risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them.

  16. Ensure adequate internal controls are in place to safeguard the company's assets.
  17. Oversee the company's insurance and risk management policies.

  18. Cash Flow and Treasury Management:

  19. Manage company cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial stability.

  20. Optimize the company's financial structure, including debt and equity management.
  21. Oversee treasury operations, including banking relationships and investment strategies.

  22. Team Leadership and Development:

  23. Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing finance team.

  24. Foster a culture of financial discipline, transparency, and accountability within the finance department.
  25. Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and tools to succeed.

  26. Mergers, Acquisitions, and Investments:

  27. Evaluate potential investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

  28. Play a key role in negotiating and structuring transactions.
  29. Assess and manage the financial impact of strategic initiatives.

  30. Stakeholder Management:

  31. Communicate financial results and strategies to the Board of Directors, investors, and other key stakeholders.

  32. Serve as the primary liaison with external financial institutions, auditors, and regulators.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Chartered Accountant ( CA ) complete is a must.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related fields, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role (preferably as a CFO).
  • Proven experience in corporate finance, financial planning, risk management, and reporting.
  • Experience in managing financial teams and collaborating with senior executives.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with different departments and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of business operations.
