Job Title: Trainer - General Duty Assistant
Job Location - Tenali, Guntur
Job Description:
The Trainer (General Duty Assistant) will be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions to students enrolled under the GDA program. The trainer should ensure effective transfer of knowledge, hands-on skill development, and adherence to sector skill council guidelines. The role requires both classroom and practical training in line with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct training sessions for candidates as per the prescribed curriculum (theory and practical).
- Train students on topics related to basic healthcare, patient care, first aid, assisting nurses/doctors, infection control, and hospital procedures.
- Ensure competency-based training and prepare students for assessment and certification under NSDC/SSC guidelines.
- Maintain attendance, training records, and evaluation reports of trainees.
- Guide and mentor candidates for workplace readiness, soft skills, and employability.
- Organize practical demonstrations in labs/healthcare facilities to enhance learning.
- Stay updated with industry trends, training methodologies, and healthcare practices.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager/Training Coordinator for smooth execution of training batches.
- Prepare and maintain lesson plans, presentations, and learning aids.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and monitoring guidelines of the Sector Skill Council (SSC).
Qualifications & Experience
- Educational Qualification:
- Minimum: B.Sc. Nursing / GNM / ANM with relevant registration.
- Desirable: Advanced certification in healthcare training.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience in hospitals/nursing homes.
- Prior experience as a trainer in skill development projects preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong subject knowledge in healthcare and patient care.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to handle practical demonstrations and simulations.
- Classroom management and mentoring abilities.
- Knowledge of NSDC/SSC curriculum and assessment process.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital training tools.
