Job Description and KRA for Store Manager:

The Store Manager will be completely accountable for overseeing daily operations of our school store. This role involves managing inventory, tracking incoming and outgoing materials. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a passion for supporting the school community, and experience in retail or inventory management. Store Manager will report to the Central Admin Head (LWS) and Principal of the school.

The responsibilities for the Store Manager are detailed below:

Inventory Management

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of all store items.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Coordinate the ordering and restocking of merchandise as needed.
  • Distribute required stocks to stakeholders as per approvals of authorities.
  • Maintain and monitor the fixed asset inventory in the schools.

Vendor Management and Procurement

  • Implement procurement policies set by the central team to ensure ethical and transparent operations.
  • Ensure timely collation of school requirements to enable purchases.
  • Coordinate with the central team for various school requirements.
  • Verify quality of procured material and ensure proper distribution.
  • Ensure timely delivery and payments.

Repairs & Maintenance

  • Assist Admin Manager to oversee regular repairs and maintenance at the school premises to ensure timely rectification of plumbing, carpentry, civil, horticulture, etc. related issues.
  • Assist Admin Manager to monitor Housekeeping, Security, Cafeteria and related services on a daily basis.
  • Ensure that services like FAS/FAFA are maintained in proper operational condition to handle unforeseen incidents.

Event Management

  • Oversee administrative arrangements for all school events.
  • Coordinate with concerned agencies to ensure arrangements are done on time.
  • Manage school trips and related arrangements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate / Post Graduate
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
