Role Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer – R&D & Product Design Execution
for a
full-time on-site role in Pune
. This role blends
technical design
with
hands-on execution
and involves:

·      Designing and developing
sheet metal, plastic, and other mechanical components
.

·      Using
CAD/CAE tools
to create and validate designs through 2D/3D models.

·      Performing
FEA/CFD simulations
and basic engineering calculations to validate designs.

·      Coordinating
prototyping and testing
, ensuring manufacturability and usability.

·      Visiting
markets/suppliers
to source materials, evaluate samples, and build a vendor base.

·      Handling
vendor communication and negotiations
for prototypes and materials.

·      Visiting partner
factories/workshops
to oversee cutting, bending, fabrication, assembly, and ensure
quality & timely delivery
.

·      Performing
inspections and quality checks
to meet engineering and design standards.

·      Collaborating across teams to implement
design improvements and innovations
.

Qualifications & Skills

·      Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
(or related).

·      Proficiency in
CAD software
(SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, AutoCAD, or similar).

·      Hands-on exposure to
FEA/CFD tools
and design validation.

·      Knowledge of
sheet metal design
, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.

·      Experience in
inspection, quality control, and maintenance
.

·      Strong
problem-solving and analytical skills
.

·      Ability to
work both independently and in teams
.

·      Strong
communication, negotiation, and vendor management
abilities.

·      
Driving/riding ability
to visit vendors, markets, and factories (preferred).

·      Prior experience in
automotive, product design, or prototyping
is a plus.
