As we expand our design team, we're looking for a
creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer
who shares our passion for bringing timeless, wearable designs to life.

Role Overview

We're seeking a
Fashion Designer
who can design original, trend-aware collections for Arvaya.

The ideal candidate will work closely with our founders and production team to conceptualize, sketch, and execute designs across categories such as
ethnic wear, festive wear, kurtis, suits, and Indo-western pieces.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Concept Development

• Create mood boards, sketches, and design concepts for upcoming collections.
• Research current fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and silhouettes suited for Arvaya's audience.
• Develop seasonal collections (Festive, Summer, Navratri, Diwali, etc.) aligned with brand identity.

Product Development

• Work with tailors, pattern makers, and sampling units to bring designs to life.
• Oversee fitting sessions and ensure each piece meets Arvaya's quality and fit standards.
• Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and finishes that match the design vision.

Collection Management

• Create detailed design sheets with fabric, color, and embellishment specifications.
• Collaborate with photographers and stylists for shoots of new launches.
• Support the e-commerce and marketing team with styling and visual presentation ideas.

Brand & Trend Alignment

• Maintain consistency in design language with Arvaya's mission of
  "Confidence in Every Color."
• Experiment with fusion styles that combine comfort and style for modern women.
• Keep up with market trends to make collections fresh yet relatable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in
  Fashion Design / Textile Design
  or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in
  women's ethnic or fusion wear design.
• Strong understanding of
  fabrics, patterns, color combinations, and garment construction.
• Proficiency in design tools like
  Adobe Illustrator / CorelDRAW / Canva
  .
• Creative thinking, attention to detail, and strong visualization skills.
• Ability to work on deadlines and manage sampling processes efficiently.
