The Opportunity: Build the Face of Our Technology

We have a powerful, fully-functional Python engine at our core. Now, we want to package this power into a polished, professional, and user-friendly desktop application. This is not a project starting from scratch; you will be enhancing and transforming an existing, working system. This is a unique opportunity to have a direct, tangible impact on our product's evolution and our clients' experience.

Your Mission: To transform our functional desktop tool into a seamless, intuitive, and powerful application that our users love.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be the key person responsible for the client-facing part of our technology. You will:

• Redesign & Develop: Modernize the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) of our existing Python desktop application using frameworks like PyQt, PySide, or CustomTkinter.
• Integrate & Connect: Seamlessly integrate AWS cloud services (like S3 for storage) to enable robust, scalable functionality.
• Build & Package: Develop, test, and package the application into a standalone, installable executable for Windows using tools like PyInstaller.
• Collaborate & Execute: Work closely with the founding team to translate product vision into a reliable and elegant software solution.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Python programming and a solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Technical Skills We Value (You should be strong in some of these):

• Experience or strong interest in desktop GUI frameworks (Tkinter, PyQt, PySide, wxPython).
• Understanding of backend development concepts, including REST API integration.
• Familiarity with database systems and writing efficient queries.
• Knowledge of or interest in working with AWS cloud services (S3, EC2, IAM).
