Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and passionate about driving component excellence across product lifecycles. You are committed to collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, while also mentoring and supporting others.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Support cost-reduction initiatives and inventory reduction efforts through consolidation and periodic reviews
  • Participate in preliminary and production BOM reviews
  • Parts management between corporate and local databases
  • Raise Engineering Change Requests to communicate obsolescence or performance issues
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis on non-direct (non-FFF) replacement parts
  • Evaluate technical feasibility of new manufacturers and co-ordinate business feasibility with Supply Chain
  • Familiarity with environmental compliance (RoHS, HF) and exemption certifications
  • Facilitate discussions between manufacturers and design engineering teams regarding part failures, roadmaps, and other issues
  • Provide component management support for Contract Manufacturers (CMs)
  • Drive technical innovation in validation, tool and script development, methodology enhancement, and multi-functional initiatives
  • Understanding of PCB assembly processes

"Nice To Have" Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; Master's degree desired
  • Knowledge of component manufacturing, qualification, and reliability evaluation
  • Expertise in Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and Change Requests

In Return:

You will gain a deeper understanding of system architecture and performance. Work alongside many other engineering teams including software, packaging, SoC implementation and verification, collaborating and enabling engineers and designers across multiple teams.
