  • Responsibilities:

  • Support Investment and Wealth Managers in evaluating new investment opportunities, primarily in private markets with some exposure to public markets.

  • Conduct due diligence, industry analysis, and company analysis for potential investments.

  • Prepare valuations and build/maintain detailed financial and deal analysis models.

  • Monitor existing portfolio companies, including historical financial tracking and valuation updates.

  • Prepare analytical insights on company performance, industry trends, and market developments.

  • Write concise macroeconomic and industry research notes to support investment decisions.

  • Demonstrate strong financial modelling, analytical, and research skills with the ability to connect quantitative insights to broader market perspectives.

  • The role is fully client-centric and demands strong knowledge and significant exposure to the Indian market landscape.

  • Experience and skills:

  • Relevant research and analysis experience in equity/ credit/ corporate finance and advisory.

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills to effectively present to clients and understand their needs.

  • Skilled in financial analysis including financial modelling and valuation methods – DCF, SOTP, IRR, trading and transaction comparables.

  • Ability to perform in-depth analysis of companies/ sectors/ markets, to arrive at insightful conclusions and opinions that can feed into investment decisions.

  • Well-developed skills in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Personal Attributes:

  • Ability to work against tight deadlines.

  • Ability to work on unstructured projects largely independently.

  • Expertise, or great comfort with numbers.

  • Working knowledge of various statistical tools will be an added advantage.

  • Experience in research s analytics, proficient knowledge of financial markets

  • High learning agility and skills in receiving and giving feedback.

  • High level of focus, objective alignment, and emotional resilience
